Engineering Ball
One Night. No Equations. Just Elegance.
The Engineering Ball is how we end Semester 2. It's the second largest event for the AUES and a chance to take a break from assignments and labs. This isn't just another university party. It's a tradition where you get to dress up, enjoy some music, and see everyone outside the usual classroom environment.
For one night, hoodies are swapped for suits and dresses, MATLAB gets replaced by music, and you get to see classmates in a new light. It's a reminder that there's more to uni than lectures and student numbers.
Before the late-night study sessions and caffeine overload start, this is your chance to relax, catch up, and celebrate making it through another year. If you want a proper break before exams, this is the night for it.
That's all it took.
This year's Engineering Ball set a new record. 800 tickets vanished in just 237 seconds — faster than you can decide which outfit to wear.
2026 Could Be Different.
You've been warned.
